Product Information
Are you in Australia looking to buy a Bondtech CHT Coated Brass 1.75mm Nozzle? Here are its main perks. It has a higher melt capacity as the surface area of the heating walls is increased. It's affordably priced and machined with extreme precision. The brass nozzle has a Nickel - coated surface. It follows the RepRap standard (M6×1×7.5×12.5) and can be used with 1.75 or 2.85mm hotends. The Bondtech CHT™ technology splits the filament into 3 thinner strands, melting the material faster and enabling higher flow rates. Core Heating is a patented tech with registration number EP3445568A1. The Nickel coating protects against corrosion, erosion, and abrasion, offers more corrosion resistance, and has a lower friction coefficient for smoother material feeding and less plastic adhesion. Recommended materials include PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPU, TPE, Nylon, PETG, ASA, PP, and PVA. For technical and abrasive materials, choose other nozzles in our range. We suggest having multiple nozzle sets as using different materials with the same nozzle can cause deposits and blockages. These high - flow nozzles are made in - house by Bondtech and fit various hotends/blocks like Mosquito® series, Copperhead™, E3D V4, V5, V6 blocks, E3D Chimera and Kraken, and RepRap M6. Each pack has 1 unit. Available sizes are 0.60, 0.8, 1.0, 1.4, and 1.8mm. It's optimized for 1.75mm filament but compatible with 2.85mm filament and requires a 6mm wrench. Using the Bondtech CHT Coated Brass Nozzle is easy. First, make sure your hotend is suitable for this nozzle as it fits Mosquito®, Copperhead™, E3D and RepRap hotends. Choose the right size nozzle from 0.60, 0.8, 1.0, 1.4 and 1.8mm based on your printing needs. It's optimized for 1.75mm filament but can also work with 2.85mm. When using, select from the recommended materials like PLA, ABS, etc. Avoid using technical and abrasive materials with this nozzle. Note that if you want to switch materials, it's best to change the nozzle to prevent deposit build - up and blockages. For maintenance, the Nickel coating helps protect against corrosion, erosion and abrasion. If you notice any plastic adhesion, clean it gently. You'll need a 6mm wrench for installation and removal. This nozzle offers great performance with its high melt capacity and smooth material feeding, so enjoy your 3D printing!
