The E3D Prusa V6 Hotend is a perfect drop - in replacement for Prusa MK2/2S and MK3/3S printers. It comes with the same components we supply directly to Prusa. The Prusa - specific heatbreak has a custom internal geometry, which offers better reliability during retractions when using the MMU. It ships with a Prusa - specific thermistor and a pre - prepared extension cable for easy replacement. Note that this HotEnd doesn't include the specific PTFE used by Prusa, so keep the PTFE from your old HotEnd. Key features include a Prusa HeatBreak, a maximum temperature of 300°C, a Prusa thermistor, and a 40w heater cartridge. It includes a V6 HeatSink, a stainless - steel Prusa HeatBreak, a brass nozzle, a heater cartridge, an aluminium HeaterBlock, a thermistor cartridge, a collet, a collet clip, a V6 fixings kit, an M3 grub screw, an M3 washer, and thermal paste.

Using this E3D Prusa V6 Hotend is easy. First, remove the old hotend from your Prusa MK2/2S or MK3/3S printer. Keep the PTFE tube from the old one as the new hotend doesn't come with it. Then, install the new hotend using the included V6 fixings kit. Connect the pre - prepared extension cable of the Prusa - specific thermistor. When using the MMU, enjoy the reliable retractions provided by the special heatbreak. Remember, the maximum temperature this hotend can reach is 300°C, so don't set it higher. For maintenance, regularly check the brass nozzle for clogs. Clean it gently if needed. Also, make sure the thermal paste is in good condition to ensure proper heat transfer. If you notice any issues with the heater cartridge or thermistor, contact our support team.
