Discover the E3D Revo Hemera XS Coldside Kits, available in direct drive (12V or 24V) or bowden kit types. These kits bring a new level of performance to your 3D printing. The Hemera XS is significantly lighter and shorter than the classic Hemera, with 92g less weight and 11mm less length. This allows it to move faster on your 3D printer's motion system, reducing print artefacts like ghosting. Its compact size also saves space in your printer's build volume, making it great for smaller printers. It can handle a wide range of 3D printing filaments, including challenging materials such as flexibles and abrasives. You can even print soft flexibles with a shore hardness as low as 75A! It's backwards compatible with Revo Nozzles and V6 nozzles (with a separately sold Hemera HeatBreak). The Hemera XS has enough extrusion force for the entire E3D ecosystem, including high - flow HotEnds. In case of a jam, the filament drive mechanism stalls instead of stripping the filament, making recovery easy. It also has better safety features with built - in PTC behaviour that reduces power as the Revo HeaterCore gets hotter. The T - slot flat mounting system allows you to attach various accessories. Pair your Hemera XS Extruder with one of our curated Hotside packs - Starter for standard - speed printing with PLA, PETG and ASA, High Flow for pushing Prusa printer speed limits, or High Flow X for printing with fibre - filled materials. The kit includes 1 x Hemera XS Extruder, 1 x Hemera fixings kit, 1 x 40 x 40 x 10 mm 12V or 24V Fan, and 1 x Extension cable kit.

Using the E3D Revo Hemera XS Coldside Kits is straightforward. First, make sure you have all the parts from the kit: the Hemera XS Extruder, fixings kit, fan, and extension cable kit. Install the extruder onto your 3D printer according to the provided instructions. If you're using a Hotside pack, attach it to the extruder. You can choose the right Hotside pack based on your printing needs - the Starter for normal printing, High Flow for high - speed printing, or High Flow X for fibre - filled materials. When loading the filament, be gentle to avoid jams. In case of a jam, don't worry! The filament drive mechanism will stall instead of stripping the filament. Just follow the un - jamming steps in the manual. Regarding safety, the built - in PTC behaviour will reduce power to the heater as it gets too hot, but still be careful around hot parts. For maintenance, regularly clean the extruder and check the fixings to ensure they're tight. Also, make sure the fan is working properly to keep the extruder cool. And that's it - happy 3D printing!
