Using the Simplecom SD322 docking station is a breeze. First, connect the docking station to your computer using the provided USB 3.0 cable and plug in the power adapter. Then, you can directly insert your 2.5 - inch or 3.5 - inch SATA hard drives. For normal use, once the drives are inserted, your computer should recognize them right away as it's plug - and - play. You can start transferring files at high speed via the USB 3.0 interface. When you want to use the offline cloning feature, make sure the target disk (HDD 2) has a higher capacity than the source disk (HDD 1). Plug both hard drives into the docking station.
