What makes these motors special? Is it the curved shape, the internal damping ring protecting the bearing, or the high-quality NSK bearings paired with a high-grade titanium alloy shaft? We've faced copies and comparisons over the years, but now it's time for a new standard. Introducing the XING2! We've upgraded the smooth, reliable, and powerful XING motors, achieving higher manufacturing standards and better performance. The new center slotted N52H curved arc magnets significantly reduce the motor's response time. In FPV, the motor can be a bottleneck due to braking and accelerating delays. The XING2 offers a faster response, translating your PID loop quicker for that locked-in feeling. Thanks to high-quality materials and a durable bell-shaft joint, we've minimized the magnet air gap and stator lamination. A smaller air gap means lower reluctance, higher magnetic flux, more efficiency, and greater power. Since 2018, we've added o-rings on top of the bearings (between the motor bell and stator). These o-rings absorb shocks from crashes and reduce high-RPM vibrations. They also reduce axial impact force, keeping the bearings smooth and quiet. All the features of the original XING series, like high-quality 7075 bells and O-ring bearing protection, are built into the new design. Using the iFlight Xing 2 1404 FPV motor is straightforward. First, choose the right KV option (3000KV, 3800KV, or 4600KV) according to your drone's needs. Then, use the provided M2x7 mounting screws to attach the motor to your drone's frame following the 9*9 - φ2mm mounting pattern. Connect the 120mm/26AWG wires to your flight controller. Make sure to use a 2S - 4S battery as specified. When flying, be aware of the motor's max continuous current of 11.8A and max continuous power of 174.6W to avoid overloading. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the o-rings on the bearings. If they get damaged or worn out, replace them. The NSK 9x9x4 bearings are smooth and long - lasting, but in case of any abnormal noise or vibration, check for possible damage. Also, protect the motor from crashes as much as possible. The 7075 aluminum bell is crash - resistant, but repeated hard impacts can still cause issues.
