Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to buy top - notch 3D printing filament? Look no further than 3DXTech Amidex Nylon 6 - 66 Copolymer Filament. AmideX™ Nylon 6 - 66 copolymer is formulated for great printability and high - performance. Nylon is a global engineering - grade thermoplastic standard because of its excellent mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance. Benefits of this nylon filament include excellent printability, high strength with 60 MPa / 8700 PSI tensile strength, better chemical resistance than other traditional 3D printing filaments, abrasion and wear resistance, and good thermal properties with a Tg of 85°C and Tm of 200°C. The filament comes in 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameters with a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm. Recommended print settings are an extruder temperature of 255 - 275°C, a bed temperature of 60 - 70°C. Using Magigoo Bed Prep or 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape for bed prep gives the best results. A heated chamber (30 - 80°C) can improve layer bonding and part mechanical properties but is not required. For complex parts, AquaTek™ water - soluble X1 USM Universal Support Material works great. Dry the filament at 90°C for 4 hours.

Using this 3DXTech Amidex Nylon 6 - 66 Copolymer Filament is easy. First, make sure to dry the filament at 90°C for 4 hours before use to get the best results. Set your extruder temperature between 255 - 275°C and the bed temperature between 60 - 70°C. You can use Magigoo Bed Prep or 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape on the bed for better adhesion. A heated chamber between 30 - 80°C can enhance the bonding between layers and the overall strength of the printed part, but it's not necessary. For complex designs, use AquaTek™ water - soluble X1 USM Universal Support Material. When it comes to maintenance, always store the filament in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption, which can affect print quality. If you notice any issues during printing, double - check the temperature settings and make sure the filament is properly dried.
