Product Information

Bambu ASA Aero is an amazing self - foaming material. It's super durable and tough. Its heat - sensitive foaming lets you control the model density, resulting in incredibly light print models, as light as a feather. It has excellent resistance to temperature, water, and UV rays, making it perfect for long - lasting outdoor models and weight - sensitive projects like RC planes. Compared to other foaming filaments, ASA Aero is tougher with higher layer strength. It can better withstand impact, collision, and falling, ideal for high - stress applications. With only 50% - 75% the density of regular ASA prints, it's designed for weight - sensitive objects. You can achieve a lower density by increasing the printing temperature or lowering the flow rate. The average density of prints varies with parameters like printing temperature, flow rate ratio, and more. Compared to PLA Aero, ASA Aero stands out in temperature, water, and UV resistance, suitable for harsh outdoor environments. It also has a matte finish that's easy to color, offering better dyeing results than regular ASA. Here are some parameter comparisons with other filaments. For accessory compatibility, it's recommended to use an engineering plate, high - temperature plate, 0.4 mm nozzle, and Bambu liquid glue or glue stick. The recommended printing settings include drying at 80 °C for 8 h, keeping the container's humidity below 20% RH, and setting the nozzle temperature between 240 - 280 °C. Its physical and mechanical properties are also remarkable, with a density of 0.99 g/cm³ and good tensile and bending strength. Each package includes 1x filament with spool and desiccant, 1x filament label, and 1x package.

Using Bambu ASA Aero filament is a breeze. First, make sure to dry the filament in a blast drying oven at 80 °C for 8 hours. This helps to remove any moisture that could affect the print quality. When printing, keep the humidity in the container below 20% RH. You can do this by sealing the container and using a desiccant. For the nozzle temperature, set it between 240 - 280 °C. The bed temperature should be 80 - 90 °C when using glue. And remember to keep the printing speed below 150 mm/s. As for the accessories, go for an engineering plate or a high - temperature plate as the build plate, and a 0.4 mm nozzle for the hotend. You can use Bambu liquid glue or a glue stick to help the print stick to the bed. When it comes to adjusting the density of your print, you can play around with the printing temperature and flow rate. Increasing the temperature or lowering the flow rate will result in a lower density. But keep in mind that the actual density may vary depending on the model you're printing. After use, store the filament in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality. Also, if you notice any signs of degradation or poor print quality, it might be time to replace the filament.
