Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to buy 3DXSTAT ESD PA12 Filament? 3DXSTAT™ ESD PA12 is crafted from a specialty Nylon 12 (PA12) and CNT matrix. We picked this combination for its great printability, thermal features, and chemical resistance. Thanks to its outstanding chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and wide processing window, ESD PA12 is popular across various industries. Our formulation results in very low shrinkage of printed parts, ensuring excellent dimensional stability. This makes our ESD PA12 a top - notch choice for tools, fixtures, and jigs. Extruder temperature should be set between 275 - 295°C, and the bed temperature should be 90 - 110°C. A heated chamber is recommended. ESD PA12 offers many benefits. It's ESD - safe for demanding applications in electronics, semiconductors, automotive, and industrial fields. It has high thermal properties with an HDT of 150°C. Its low moisture absorption helps maintain mechanical properties in humid conditions. With low density, it's perfect for lightweight parts. It also has superior chemical resistance compared to PA6 and PA6/66 nylons. Plus, it ensures excellent dimensional stability and reproducible part measurements. For printing, use a hardened steel nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4mm. The ideal layer height is 60% of the nozzle diameter, and don't print layers smaller than 0.2mm with carbon fiber reinforced filaments. Magigoo Bed Prep and 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape work best for bed preparation. A heated chamber up to 145°C is recommended. AquaTek™ water soluble X1 USM Universal Support Material is suitable for complex models. If the material shows signs of moisture, dry it at 90°C for at least 4 hours.

Using this 3DXTech ESD PA12 Filament is easy. First, set your extruder temperature between 275 - 295°C and the bed temperature at 90 - 110°C. It's a good idea to use a heated chamber, up to 145°C. For the nozzle, choose a hardened steel one with a minimum diameter of 0.4mm. When it comes to layer height, aim for 60% of the nozzle diameter, and don't go smaller than 0.2mm if you're using carbon fiber reinforced filaments. Prepare your bed with Magigoo Bed Prep and 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape for the best results. If you're printing complex models, AquaTek™ water soluble X1 USM Universal Support Material will work well. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the moisture level of the filament. If it shows signs of moisture, simply dry it at 90°C for at least 4 hours. This will help maintain its performance and ensure great - looking 3D prints every time.
