The Bambu PLA Silk Dual - Colour filament combines two individual silk colors into one strand. It retains a silky feel and high - gloss look, creating a natural color gradient as it smoothly transitions between hues. You can easily change the visible color by rotating the filament. Ideal for aesthetic and decorative 3D printing projects, this filament adds a smooth and captivating touch to your creations. Its dynamic color transformations offer endless creative possibilities. You can control the gloss finish of printed models by adjusting the printing temperature and speed. Higher temperatures and lower speeds are recommended for a glossier result. All printing parameters are stored in RFID and can be read via our AMS, making printing hassle - free. This filament is compatible with specific build plates, hotends, and glues, and comes with recommended settings for drying, humidity, nozzle temperature, bed temperature, and printing speed. It also has defined physical and mechanical properties. Each purchase includes a filament with spool and desiccant, plus a filament label.

Using this Bambu Lab PLA Silk Dual - Colour filament is easy. First, make sure to dry the filament in a blast drying oven at 55 °C for 8 hours. Keep the humidity in the printing and storage container below 20% RH by sealing it with a desiccant. When printing, set the nozzle temperature between 210 - 240 °C and the bed temperature (with glue) at 35 - 45 °C. Print at a speed of less than 250 mm/s. To get a glossier finish, try using higher printing temperatures and lower speeds. For the best results, use recommended build plates like the Cool Plate, High Temperature Plate or Textured PEI Plate, and suitable hotends such as those with a 0.4 mm Hardened Steel Nozzle or 0.2 mm/0.4 mm Stainless Steel Nozzle. You can use liquid glue or a glue stick. When not in use, store the filament in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality. If you notice any issues during printing, check the RFID to ensure the correct parameters are being read by the AMS.
