Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to buy an MK8 Bondtech CHT Coated Brass nozzle? These nozzles are perfect for high flow applications. Manufactured in - house by Bondtech, they fit a wide range of hotends/blocks, including bq Hephestos, Hephestos 2, Creality CR - 10 series, MakerBot Replicator series, and many others. Features include: one unit per pack, available in 0.40, 0.60, and 0.80mm sizes, optimized for 1.75mm filament (also compatible with 2.85mm). A 8mm wrench is required. The main Bondtech CHT® advantages are higher melt capacity due to increased heating wall surface area, an affordable price, ultra - precision machining, a nickel - coated brass surface, and compliance with RepRap and MK8 nozzle standards. It can be used with 1.75 or 2.85mm hotends. The Bondtech CHT® technology splits the filament into 3 thinner strands for faster melting and higher flow rates. Core Heating is a patented technology (registration number: EP3445568A1). The nickel coating provides protection against corrosion, erosion, and abrasion, and allows for slicker material feeding. Recommended materials include PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPU, TPE, Nylon, PETG, ASA, PP, and PVA. For technical and abrasive materials, use other nozzles in our range. We recommend having multiple nozzle sets to avoid deposit build - up and blockages when changing materials. Browse all Nozzles, Bondtech products, and 3D printing supplies.

Using the Bondtech CHT MK8 Coated Brass Nozzle is quite straightforward. First, make sure you have a 8mm wrench handy as it's needed for installation. When choosing a size, you have 0.40, 0.60, and 0.80mm options available. This nozzle is great for both 1.75mm and 2.85mm filaments. You can use it with a bunch of different 3D printers like bq Hephestos, Creality CR - 10 series, and MakerBot Replicator series. For materials, go for PLA, ABS, HIPS, etc. But if you're using technical or abrasive materials, it's better to pick another nozzle from our range. Now, here are some important things to note. When you change the printing material, it's a good idea to change the nozzle too. Using different materials with the same nozzle can cause deposits to build up inside, which may lead to blockages. To keep your nozzle in good shape, since it has a nickel coating, it already has protection against corrosion, erosion, and abrasion. But still, try to keep it clean after use. You can use appropriate cleaning tools to remove any remaining filament gently. With these tips, you'll get the most out of your Bondtech CHT MK8 Coated Brass Nozzle.
