Product Information

Are you in Australia and on the hunt for top - notch LDO motors? Look no further! This LDO - 42STH25 - 1404MAC motor, also recognized as SKU 13005 by Bondtech, is a gem. It's a Nema17 stepper motor with a 0.9° angle, offering high resolution. With 400 steps per revolution, 1.4A peak current, and an 18 N/cm holding torque, it packs a punch. Its 25mm body and 5mm output shaft are just right. Weighing only 150g, it's lightweight yet powerful. This motor is a perfect match for our BMG / Prusa extruder upgrades. It comes with a 1000 mm long cable, having a Dupont connector at one end and a PH6 connector at the motor end. For BMG use, here are the step values: 8 - bit microstepping needs E - steps 415, 16 - bit microstepping requires E - steps 830, and 32 - bit microstepping asks for E - steps 1660.

Using this LDO Nema17 stepper motor is easy. First, connect the cable to your device. The Dupont connector end goes to your main device, and the PH6 connector end attaches to the motor. When using it with a BMG, remember to set the correct E - steps according to the microstepping level. For 8 - bit, set E - steps to 415; for 16 - bit, use 830; and for 32 - bit, set it to 1660. As for maintenance, keep it clean and free from dust. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, replace the cable promptly. Also, avoid overloading the motor to ensure its long - term performance. Store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust or other damage.
