Product Information

Are you in Australia and seeking to buy an LDO ToolHead PCB and Breakout Board kit? This awesome kit comes with 1x Breakout board, and you can find cables here. The toolhead cable is made for Voron printers' gantry cable chains. All its wires are UL1332 high - strand count cables with durable FEP insulation, reducing friction and preventing breakage from repeated bending. Remember to remove the zipties on the cable before installing it in the chain to avoid damage. The breakout PCB turns the 14 - pin toolhead cable into individual ports for the mainboard. It has corresponding ports to the toolhead PCB and can accept the 4 - pin endstop cable in LDO kits. Here's a quick look at each port on the breakout PCB: There are ports for the hotend fan, part cooling fan, hotend heater, thermistors, endstops, input for the endstop PCB, probe, extruder stepper motor, chamber fan, LED, and control signals. Note that polarity is crucial when connecting to the mainboard; wrong polarity can short - circuit and damage your mainboard. Some ports are only for Switchwire builds. The breakout PCB also has two unpopulated circuits: a mosfet circuit for CFAN/LED (only populated in Switchwire kits) and a 5V power supply circuit for the Hall Endstop PCB. Browse all LDO and Voron parts and accessories.

Using this LDO PCB Breakout Board Kit is easy. First, if you're using the toolhead cable, take off the zipties that come with it before putting it in the cable chain of your Voron printer. Then, connect the 14 - pin toolhead cable to the breakout PCB. Next, connect the individual ports on the breakout PCB to the corresponding parts on your mainboard. Remember, when making these connections, pay close attention to the polarity. Incorrect polarity can cause a short - circuit and damage your mainboard. For the unpopulated circuits on the breakout PCB, if you have a Switchwire kit, the mosfet circuit for CFAN/LED will be populated. If you want to use the Hall Endstop PCB, you can solder the 5V power supply circuit yourself, but keep in mind it's not for high - current loads. As for maintenance, regularly check the connections to make sure they're secure. Look for any signs of wear on the cables and the PCB. If you notice any loose connections or damaged parts, replace them promptly to keep your printer running smoothly.
