Product Information
Are you looking to buy a temperature and humidity sensor in Australia? We imported these sensors because we noticed that most 3D printing enthusiasts don't dry their filament, yet it's essential for the best results. When we asked customers about the humidity in their filament storage rooms, many were clueless. Some rooms can reach 70 - 80% humidity on certain days, which means your filament might not be in good condition. This affordable sensor can sit on your desk or next to your printer, giving you a clear idea of the temperature and humidity in your printing room. Phaser FPV recommends drying your filament with the Sunlu Filament S1 + Dryer and using a Dryer Mount while printing. Or, if it suits you better, use the Sunlu Filadryer S2 which can be mounted on a table or desk. You can monitor the room humidity with our sensor and also use a humidity sensor and mount in the Sunlu Dryer. After printing, store your filament in airlock bags and remove air with a NanoVac Pump. Place a humidity sensor in the spool adapter to gauge the humidity on the spool for your next print. Storing in bags reduces drying time for optimal results. Be careful of sharp filament ends that could puncture the bags. The HTC - 1 features a large LCD display that shows current temperature, relative humidity, and current time all at once. It also offers the current date and day at the push of a button, along with max and min temperature readings, perfect for home or office use. Features: Large LCD display shows temp, humidity, and time simultaneously. Total LCD size is 80 × 60 mm. MAX/MIN humidity and temperature are automatically recorded and can be reset by the user. It has a changeable Fahrenheit or Celsius readout (select F or C on the back). You can choose between 12 or 24 - hour time modes (set using MODE & ADJ buttons). Push the ADJ button to display the month and day. It comes with an integrated back - stand for desktop or table use or a hanging hole for wall mounting. Specifications: Temperature range is from - 10°C to + 70°C (14°F to + 158°F), with an accuracy of ± 1°C (1.8°F) and a resolution of 0.1°C (0.2°F). Humidity range is from 10%RH to 99%RH, with an accuracy of ± 5%RH and a resolution of 1%. It requires a single AAA 1.5V battery. Package contents: 1x humidity/temperature sensor with an included AAA battery. Browse more: Check out airlock Filament Vacuum Sealing System, Polyalchemy filaments, PLA Filaments (including PLA+), ASA Filament, ABS Filament, PETG Filament, Nylon Filament, PC Filament, SLA Resin, Speciality Filament, and TPU Filament.
Using the Phaser FPV Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a breeze. First, insert the included AAA 1.5V battery into the sensor. You can then place it on your desk or table using the integrated back - stand, or hang it on the wall using the hanging hole. Once it's set up, it will start displaying the current temperature, relative humidity, and time on the large LCD screen. To change the temperature unit between Fahrenheit and Celsius, simply select F or C on the back of the sensor. You can switch between 12 - hour and 24 - hour time modes by using the MODE and ADJ buttons. Push the ADJ button to view the month and day. The sensor automatically records the MAX and MIN humidity and temperature, and you can reset these readings whenever you want. When using the sensor in relation to 3D printing, monitor the humidity in your filament storage room and in your dryer. After printing, store your filament in airlock bags and use a NanoVac Pump to remove air. Place a humidity sensor in the spool adapter to keep track of the humidity on the spool. Be careful of sharp filament ends that could puncture the airlock bags. For maintenance, keep the sensor clean and dry. If the battery runs out, replace it with a new AAA 1.5V battery.
