Product Information

Are you in Australia and seeking a Prusa Double-sided Textured PEI Powder Coated Spring Steel Sheet? This textured sheet is an excellent replacement or an extra addition for your Prusa printer. The MK52 heatbed has high Curie temperature magnets that firmly hold the removable spring steel sheets. The powder coating on the metal makes the build plate durable. If a heated nozzle hits it, the metal can dissipate heat. The powder coating gives the surface a unique texture visible on your prints, and it hides most mechanical damage from tools. Only the tops of small bumps may get scratched without affecting the model's bottom. This product includes one Double-sided Textured PEI Powder-coated Spring Steel Sheet. To replace parts, refer to our Assembly Manuals and follow the manual for your printer model. Find more details about spring steel sheets in our knowledgebase. Note that consumable parts like PEI sheets aren't covered by warranty as coatings wear over time, except for defects in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage isn't covered either, only defective sheets on arrival are. Browse Prusa MK3/MK3S, Prusa, all Filament, and all 3D Printing products.

Using this Prusa spring steel sheet is easy. First, if you're replacing an old sheet, refer to the Assembly Manual for your printer model to take out the old one and put in the new Double - sided Textured PEI Powder - coated Spring Steel Sheet. The high - strength magnets in the MK52 heatbed will hold it firmly. When printing, the textured surface will give your prints a unique look. Be careful not to let the heated nozzle crash into the sheet, but if it does, the metal can handle the heat. After printing, you can gently remove your model from the sheet. For maintenance, keep the sheet clean. Wipe it with a soft cloth. Remember, since it's a consumable part, the coating will wear over time, so don't expect it to last forever. If you receive a defective sheet, you can claim the warranty, but normal wear and cosmetic damage aren't covered.
