Product Information

Prusa uses two different 5V fans in their Prusa MK3S Kits: the Type B Delta Fan and the Type A Noctua Fan NF - A4x10 - 5V (this listing). If both are out of stock, we also sell the Noctua fan in the Noctua NF - A4x10 - 5V Kit directly from Noctua. But note, it doesn't come with the correct length wire/connector, so you'll need to solder the wires. The NF - A4x10 5V is a premium 5V version of Noctua's well - optimized 40x10mm quiet fan. It features advanced aerodynamic design like Flow Acceleration Channels and an AAO standard frame. With Smooth Commutation Drive technology and SSO2, it runs smoothly and has excellent long - term stability. It also comes with modular cabling, the OmniJoin™ Adaptor Set, and a 6 - year manufacturer's warranty, making it a top choice for 5V applications. This product is a replacement Hotend fan, only compatible with the MK3/S/+. The MK2.5/S Rambo needs a v - cable adapter as the fan can't be connected directly.

Using this Prusa MK3/S Hot End Fan is quite straightforward. First, make sure your printer is the MK3/S/+. If you have an MK2.5/S Rambo, you'll need to use a v - cable adapter before connecting the fan. When you get the fan from the Noctua NF - A4x10 - 5V Kit, you may need to solder the wires as it doesn't come with the right length wire/connector. For maintenance, keep the fan clean from dust. You can use a soft brush to gently remove any debris. Don't touch the fan blades when it's running to avoid any injuries. Also, note that this fan comes with a 6 - year manufacturer's warranty, so if you face any issues within this period, you can reach out for support.
