Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to purchase polycarbonate panels for your Rat Rig? The Standard Rat Rig With Enclosure 2.0 we offer doesn't come with panels. This is intentional as some makers might not need them. If you want to transform the kit into a fully enclosed 3D printer, this panel kit is a must - have. We cut these panels locally in bulk, offering you an economical option so you don't have to deal with DDX files or cutting them yourself. This kit includes: 1x 4.5mm Opal Milky White PC Panel Base, 1x 3mm Opal Milky White PC Panel Electronics, 1x 4.5mm Transparent PC Panel Enclosure Back, 1x 4.5mm Transparent PC Panel Enclosure Door, 1x 4.5mm Transparent PC Panel Enclosure Top, and 2x 4.5mm Transparent PC Panel Enclosure Sides. The panels are carefully bubble - wrapped, taped together, and sandwiched between 2x 3mm MDF boards for safe transportation. Note that all internal corners are CNC - cut and will have a radius. Browse more RAT RIG products and 3D printed supplies and accessories.

Using this polycarbonate panel kit is easy. First, unpack the panels carefully from the packaging. You'll notice they're well - protected between MDF boards. Start by identifying each panel based on the included list. Place the Panel Base on a flat surface, then attach the side panels, back panel, and top panel. Finally, install the door panel. When handling the panels, be gentle to avoid scratches. As they're made of polycarbonate, they're relatively durable but can still get damaged if mishandled. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the panels. If there are stubborn stains, you can use a mild soap and water solution. Just make sure to dry the panels thoroughly after cleaning. Keep in mind that the CNC - cut corners have a radius, so don't expect sharp angles. And enjoy turning your Rat Rig into a fully enclosed printer with this great kit.
