Are you in Australia looking to buy a high - performance flight controller? The Matek F405 - VTOL Flight Controller is your ideal choice. It features a powerful STM32F405RGT6 MCU running at 168MHz with 1MB Flash. The ICM42688 - P IMU, SPL06 - 001 baro, and AT7456E OSD ensure accurate data collection. It has a MicroSD card slot for blackbox recording. With 6 UARTs, 12 PWM outputs, and 4 ADCs, it offers great flexibility. The built - in inverter on UART2 - RX supports SBUS input, and the switchable dual camera input adds more functionality. It supports ArduPilot (MatekF405 - TE) and INAV (MATEKF405TE_SD, INAV 5.0 or newer). The PDB has an input voltage range of 6.8 - 30V, can handle high - current loads, and has accurate battery and current sensors. There are multiple BEC outputs for different devices: 5V for flight - related components, 9V/12V for video and gimbal, Vx adjustable for servos, and 3.3V for modules. Physically, it has multiple mounting options, small dimensions of 45 x 42 x 15mm, and weighs only 25g with the USB/buzzer adapter. Using the Matek F405 - VTOL Flight Controller is quite straightforward. First, choose the appropriate mounting option according to your needs, either the 25 x 25mm - Φ2mm or 35 x 35mm - Φ4mm holes. Connect your devices to the corresponding ports. For example, connect your battery to the PDB within the input voltage range of 6.8 - 30V. Use the different BEC outputs to power various components like the flight controller, receiver, video transmitter, etc. When it comes to firmware, select either ArduPilot or INAV based on your preference. For INAV, make sure it's version 5.0 or newer. Some important notes: Ensure the input voltage for the BEC outputs is at least 1V higher than the output voltage for stable operation. When handling the controller, be gentle as it's a delicate device. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Check the soldering points if you've soldered the Dupont pins. Store it in a safe place when not in use to avoid damage.
