Product Information

The TBS Lucid flight stack is TBS's latest engineering marvel, designed for racing and freestyle flying to meet the needs of both experienced pilots and new enthusiasts. It features an 8-layer high current density board with double the market average on-board capacitance. This ESC can endure the toughest FPV flying conditions while offering smooth flight and rapid acceleration. By focusing on heat dissipation from the start, it achieves great power-to-weight ratio without heavy heat sinks. Through close cooperation with AM32, it delivers top performance at an affordable price. The innovative 'Gorilla' mount provides excellent power delivery by avoiding the need to run mounting bolts through the ESC. Frame developers can integrate this mounting pattern into new frames, and backwards compatibility is ensured with mounting brackets. Specifications include ESC software AlkaMotors32 (AM32), a rated current of 60A x 4 for 300 seconds, a peak current of 70A x 4 for 60 seconds, support for up to 9' propellers (good airflow needed for over 7'), 3 - 6S Lipo input, bi-directional Dshot 300/600 protocol, ESC current port, no BEC, size of 34mm*44mm, multiple mounting options, and a weight of 13.81g (19g with brackets). The package includes the TBS Lucid 4in1 ESC, 4x 2.2x4mm standoffs, an aluminum top bracket for 20x20 FCs, an XT60 power connector, a 470uF 6S capacitor, 4x M2x12 screws, and 4x M2x14 screws.

Using the TBS Lucid 6s 4in1 ESC is easy. First, make sure to choose the right mounting option according to your frame - you can use the Gorilla mount or the brackets for 20x20 mm, 30.5x30.5 mm. Connect the power using the XT60 power connector and attach the propellers, but remember that for propellers over 7', good airflow is required. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the temperature during flight. Since the ESC is designed for good heat dissipation, you don't need heavy heat sinks, but if it gets too hot, check for any blockages that might be affecting airflow. Also, regularly inspect the connections to ensure they are secure. When not in use, store the ESC in a dry and cool place. Follow the recommended current ratings to avoid overloading the ESC. And that's all you need to know to get the most out of your TBS Lucid 6s 4in1 ESC.
