Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to enhance your TBS Tango 2? Our LITE style module bay add - on is the perfect solution! We've found that the XJT mini module has a hardware incompatibility with Tango 2 (V2 and up) boards, so unfortunately, the Tango 2 can't support it. This after - market mod easily attaches to the back of your Tango 2 and plugs into its receptacle board. Installation is straightforward. First, install the FPC cable to the PCB with the blue side up. Then, feed the cable through the bottom and place the PCB in the module bay. Make sure everything fits right, close the case with the provided screws, cut a small hole as per the outline, slide the flex PCB through the drilled case, clean the back surface, tape the module bay down, install the FPC cable into the receptacle, and you're all set! Note that the first batch of Tango 2 was shipped without module bay capability, so check for a connector before buying. Upgrade PCB's are available. This add - on is compatible with TBS Tango 2 mainboard 'V006H' and up. Browse more Tango 2, TBS Radios, TBS Crossfire Receivers, and all TBS products.

Using this TBS Tango 2 module bay add - on is easy. First, install the FPC cable to the PCB with the blue side facing up. Then, feed the cable through the bottom and put the PCB in the module bay. Make sure everything fits well and close the case with the two screws. Cut a small hole according to the outline, slide the flex PCB through the drilled case, clean the back of the Tango 2, and tape the module bay down. Finally, install the FPC cable into the receptacle and close the Tango 2 case. Be careful! The first batch of Tango 2 doesn't have module bay capability, so check for a connector before you buy. Also, when you open your Tango 2 in the future, you'll need to open the module bay and release the flex PCB from the socket. Keep your add - on clean and avoid using it in very dirty or wet conditions to maintain its performance.
