Using the Bondtech IFS Extruder for your Prusa Mini is easy. First, install the extruder into your Prusa Mini following the included parts and basic installation guides. If you want to use the filament sensor, mount it inside the extruder housing. When changing materials, just activate the Quick - Release lever to release the tension, pull out the old material, and then insert the new one while keeping the lever activated. To adjust the pressure on the filament, use the thumbscrew tensioner according to the type of material you're using. For maintenance, regularly check the hardened drive gears for any signs of wear, especially when using abrasive materials. Keep the extruder clean from dust and debris. Also, make sure the connection parts are tight and secure. Don't forget that the Prusa Filament Sensor, Filament Sensor Magnets, and Filament Sensor Steel Sphere are not included in the kit, so you'll need to get them separately if you want to use the full sensor functionality.
