This Energetic double-sided spring steel sheet is a great addition to your Bambu Lab A1 Mini. It has no magnet and the textured side is black in the PEI PRO HF Version with a red PHASER FPV logo at the bottom. Made by a third - party, not Bambu Labs. A PEI - coated build sheet takes your printing to a new level. No need for glue sticks or painter's tape. Just clean with isopropyl alcohol, start printing, and flex the sheet after printing to remove the print easily. Advantages include no warping or rusting, easy first - layer printing for new users, flexibility, removability, and good magnet adhesion. It can last 6 - 12 months or more. Recommended print temps are 60C for PLA, 70 - 80C for PETG, and 100 - 110C for ABS.
Using this spring steel sheet is easy. First, clean the bed with isopropyl alcohol before starting a print. For PLA, set the print temp to 60C; for PETG, 70 - 80C; and for ABS, 100 - 110C. When printing general hard plastics like PLA, PETG, PCTG, ABS, or Nylon, be careful with the first layer. For PETG, PCTG, and Nylon, apply glue stick before printing to avoid bonding to the PEI surface and damaging it. After printing, wait until the plate is close to room temperature (under 30C) before removing the part. Just remove the spring steel plate, flex it, and the print will pop off. For flexible materials like TPU or TPE, print only on the textured surface. To remove, set the heat bed to 100°C, wait until it reaches at least 80°C, pull the part while spraying isopropyl around it, and then turn off the heater bed. With proper care, this sheet can last 6 - 12 months or more.
