Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to buy a top - notch 5.8GHz VTX? The BetaFPV A01 is your ideal choice! It offers switchable power options of 0mW, 25mW, and 200mW, allowing you to adapt to different situations. The built - in Smart Audio function enables seamless communication between the flight controller and the video transmitter. With this, your flight controller can easily detect and change the VTX frequency. PitMode is also supported, perfect for race events as it limits the range to 2 - 3m and lets you adjust settings without interference. It comes with a dipole whip high - sensitivity antenna, firmly mounted on the VTX board for durability. The power status is clearly indicated by the blue and red LEDs. It has an output power of 0mW, 25mW, and 200mW (adjustable), operates at a supply voltage of 5V, weighs only 2.0g, and covers 5.8GHz with 6 bands and 48 channels, including the Raceband from 5362 to 5945MHz. You can change the frequency, channel, and power via Smart Audio, either through the OSD menu or Betaflight GUI commands. The package includes 1 BETAFPV A01 5.8G VTX and 1 5 - Pin FC Cable.

Using the BetaFPV A01 VTX is easy! First, make sure to connect it properly with the 5 - Pin FC Cable provided in the package. The power supply should be 5V; don't connect it directly to a 1S battery. To change the frequency, channel, and power, you have two methods. You can enter the OSD menu using the radio transmitter sticks (Pitch Stick UP and Yaw Stick Left), then go to FEATURES -> VTX SA. Or, you can use Betaflight CLI commands. For example, to set the frequency to 5865 and power to 200mW, use the commands 'set vtx_band=1', 'set vtx_channel=1','set vtx_freq=5865','set vtx_power = 2', and then'save'. When it comes to PitMode, it's very useful during race events. To activate it, enter the OSD menu, go to FEATURES -> VTX SA -> CONFIG -> PIT FMODE and select the PIR status. To exit, select the OP MODEL to FREE. As for maintenance, keep the VTX clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or rough handling. Check the antenna regularly to ensure it's firmly attached to the board.
