Product Information

Are you in Australia and looking to buy a Matek Servo PDB with 12A BEC? This PDB has a wide 9V - 55V operating input range. It offers adjustable output voltages of 5V, 6V, and 8V for servos (default is 5V). With a synchronous switching step - down regulator, it has high efficiency from 88% to 96%. It can support a continuous output current of up to 12A and a peak current of 20A. The standby current is only 5 - 10mA. It has features like thermal shutdown, output short - circuit tolerance for 2 seconds, overcurrent protection with self - recovery. The dropout voltage is 2V (requires input >= 10V for stable 8V output). The pins have a 2.54mm distance. It's compact, measuring 50 x 27 x 8mm and weighing just 18g. The package includes 1x SVPDB - 12S and unsoldered Dupont 2.54mm pins. Ideal for flight controllers without a dedicated BEC for servos and reduces circuit loss and voltage drop in big - scale RC airplanes. Browse all Matek products, PDBs, and regulators.

Using this Matek Servo PDB is easy. First, make sure the input voltage is within the 9V - 55V range. You can adjust the output voltage for your servos to 5V, 6V, or 8V as needed. Connect the components using the 2.54mm pins. When using, keep in mind that there's no protection for reversed input polarity, so double - check your connections. The PDB has thermal shutdown and overcurrent protection, but avoid overloading it. For stable 8V output, ensure the input voltage is at least 10V. Maintenance is simple. Just keep it clean and dry. If you notice any abnormal behavior like overheating or short - circuits, disconnect the power immediately. The package comes with unsoldered Dupont pins, so you may need to solder them properly according to your requirements.
