Bambu ASA-CF filament is engineered for tough outdoor conditions. It offers excellent weather and UV resistance, combining the benefits of ASA with carbon fiber for enhanced stiffness and dimensional stability. This makes it a top pick for large-scale models that need durability and precision in challenging environments.
### Features
- **Superior Outdoor Durability**: One of the best materials for outdoor use, it resists harsh weather and UV well. Reinforced with carbon fiber, it's great for making durable garden tools, outdoor furniture, and electronics enclosures.
- **Optimized for Large Models**: Carbon fiber reduces warping, ensuring excellent dimensional stability. Ideal for large, high-precision models or parts in assemblies.
- **Sleek Matte Finish**: With a smooth matte surface and few visible layer lines, it gives a refined, natural look. Perfect for detailed outdoor decor like planters.
- **Enhanced Stiffness for High Load-Bearing Parts**: 67% stiffer than standard ASA, it's the go-to for parts that need to bear significant loads and resist bending, such as camping accessories and plant stands.

Using Bambu ASA-CF filament is easy. First, dry the filament in a blast drying oven at 80 °C for 8 hours. This helps remove any moisture and ensures a better print. Keep the filament in a sealed container with a desiccant to maintain humidity below 20%.
When printing, set your nozzle temperature between 250 - 280 °C and the bed temperature (with glue) between 80 - 100 °C. It's best to print at a speed of less than 250 mm/s for the best results.
For the build plate, use a smooth or textured PEI plate. And for the hotend, a hardened steel 0.4mm, 0.6mm (recommended), or 0.8mm is a good choice. Avoid using a hotend with a stainless steel nozzle of any size or a hardened steel nozzle of 0.2mm. Also, use a Bambu glue stick instead of the liquid glue.
After printing, if you're using the printed items outdoors, they'll be able to withstand harsh weather and UV rays. But still, it's a good idea to check them regularly for any signs of wear. Store the filament in a cool, dry place to keep it in good condition.
