Product Information

Searching for Bambu Labs PET - CF Basic Filament in Australia? Bambu PET - CF combines tough PET with carbon fiber. The carbon fiber boosts hardness and mechanical strength while maintaining the low warping and shrinkage of regular PET. It has excellent high - temperature resistance and a soft - glowing appearance. Ideal for load - bearing structures or prints in high - temperature and humid environments due to its strength, heat resistance, dimensional stability, and low moisture absorption. Under saturated water absorption, it experiences minimal strength and stiffness loss, making it great for high - humidity use. The filament comes in a 1 - kg loading weight. For printing, a 0.6 mm Hardened Steel Nozzle is recommended, and it works best with an enclosed printer. It's not AMS - compatible. Compared to PETG - CF, PET - CF is stronger and more temperature - resistant, making it a professional - grade material for complex environments. It's also a better choice than nylon for high - humidity functional parts and suitable for mechanical assembly parts like automotive accessories. Check out the parameters comparison with PAHT - CF in the table. Recommended printing settings include pre - drying at 80 °C for 8 - 12 hours, keeping container humidity below 20% RH, a nozzle temperature of 260 - 290 °C, a bed temperature of 80 - 100 °C with PVP glue, and a printing speed below 100 mm/s. It has specific physical and mechanical properties as listed. Printing tips: dry properly before use and store in an airtight container with desiccant. Each pack includes 1x Filament & Desiccant and 1x Filament Label. Also, browse other Bambu Lab products and various filaments.

Hey there! Using the Bambu Lab PET - CF Basic Filament is easy. First, make sure to dry the filament before printing. You can either use a filament dryer at 80 °C for 5 hours or a heat bed at 90 °C for 10 hours, but don't go over 100 °C or the spool might melt. When printing, use a 0.6 mm Hardened Steel Nozzle if you can, and an enclosed printer is the best choice. Keep the nozzle temperature between 260 - 290 °C and the bed temperature at 80 - 100 °C with PVP glue. And don't print faster than 100 mm/s. To prevent the filament from absorbing moisture, use an airtight container with a desiccant while printing. After use, store it in the same airtight container to keep it dry.
